5 Isaf Soldiers Killed in Insurgent Attack

At least five Isaf troops were killed in an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday, Isaf said in a statement today.
Isaf did not provide additional information about the incident.
The attack comes as another Nato soldier was killed on Friday in eastern Afghanistan.
Foreign forces casualties have increased recently in Afghanistan as insurgents have become more active.
The death brings the number foreign forces to 127 so far this year in the Afghan war.
Violence has increased in the eastern Afghanistan and insurgents use Improvised Explosive Devices to target foreign and Afghanistan forces.
Previously foreign forces bases in Afghanistan have been attacked and scores of insurgents have been killed.
Foreign forces are expected to hand over security responsibilities of seven areas to Afghan forces in the first phase of security transition in July year.
In the Berlin conference on 14 April , US Secretary of State warned members of Nato against speedy withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan.
Mrs Clinton said Taliban insurgents are watching and speedy withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan could damage the fragile progress made in the country.
