Blast Kills Isaf Soldier in E Afghanistan

An Isaf soldier was killed in a in mine blast in eastern Afghanistan on Monday, Isaf said in a statement. Isaf did not provide the exact location of the incident and nationality of the soldier.
The death brings the number of foreign forces killed in Afghanistan to
121 so far this year.
Eighty six US troops, 15 British and 20 from other countries have been killed in the country.
Violence has recently increased in the east of Afghanistan and insurgent often plant roadside mines to target Afghan and foreign forces.
Afghan and foreign forces have launched military operations to clear volatile regions of militants.
There are around 152,000 foreign forces in Afghanistan,100,000 of them American soldiers fighting insurgents in different parts of the country.
